Standard solid rubber wheels are the classic choice of wheel, with an affordable price and a huge range of variants that make them suitable for many industrial applications. Generally speaking, solid rubber wheels offer good rolling comfort and quiet running, and will not damage your floors or surfaces.

Elastic solid rubber wheels offer more travel comfort. With around 65° Shore A, this material is softer than standard solid rubber, which allows the wheels to absorb more vibrations and impacts. They also offer greater load-bearing capacity than standard solid rubber wheels.  Elastic solid rubber wheels are often used as “blue wheels” under flight cases, PA systems and stage equipment.
